The Old Drill Hall is in a Quiet Residential Street within easy walking Distance (or a Maximum 5 Minute Taxi Ride) of Appley Park and Beach, Ryde Esplanade and Beach and the Shops, Restaurants and Pubs of Central Ryde and the Esplanade.

Guest Access

The external ground floor door of the property is on a level with the parking area, however the apartment is accessed via 2 short flights of stairs with a landing half way which turns 90 Degrees, so not wheelchair accessible. There is no lift in the property.

This is a convenient, comfortable and clean stay in Ryde. Perfect as a base for exploring the rest of the island! Karrie was so helpful with instructions and quick communication, we slept really well!

There are Multiple ways to get to the Isle of Wight from the Mainland, whether by Walk-on Passenger Ferry from Portsmouth Harbour Train Station, Foot Passenger Hovercraft from Clarence Esplanade in Southsea, Wightlink Car Ferry from Gunwharf Ferry Terminal in Portsmouth to Fishbourne, or the Red Funnel Car Ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth.
