Oyster Catchers has just been lovingly restored. While still retaining the charm of this traditional Cottage property it has been modernised to offer you a great stay for either a large family or groups of friends. If you are looking for a centrally located property to base your stay on the island this could be perfect for you. Seaviews from 3 of the 4 bedrooms and very close to shops and cafes - the Co-Op and Costa are our neighbours.

Good to know

The entrance is on the ground floor - where the hallway takes you through to the property - there is a large open plan kitchen with utility area off the kitchen. The sitting room is open plan with the kitchen and the small courtyard is accessed from the kitchen. There is a downstairs Bathroom with Shower to the rear of the kitchen, Upstairs there are 4 good size bedrooms and the family bathroom with a shower attachment over Bath. 1 x Kingsize bedroom 2 x Double Bedroom 1 x Bunk-bed room

1. No Smoking 2. No Parties 3. No Pets Additional Notes: We only rent to guests who are over 23 years old as we have had issues with younger adults not respecting the property. We welcome children with well behaved parents!

Guest Access

The bedrooms are located upstairs, as is the main family Bathroom, but there is a downstairs Bathroom with Shower off the Kitchen.

What a cracking spot to spend an overnight with some fellow mums on a weekend away. Great location and plenty of space (it felt bigger than the pictures looked) for a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend.

Find us

Its quicker to get the car ferry to Fishbourne from Portsmouth - 10 mins drive. If you take the Red Funnel car ferry from Southampton it will take you about 20 mins 7 miles to reach Oyster Catchers. If you are traveling without a car this is also very possible - we would recommend you either get the Hovercraft from Southsea - 10 min crossing and 10 walk to Oyster Catchers. Alternatively the Wight Link Catermaran will take you about 25 mins and its a 2 min train and 10 minute walk to our cottage.
